Serving up Fresh Vegetable Juice and a Bloody Mary (Video)

Friday, October 14, 2011

As you are beginning to see, I do get genuinely excited about food, cooking, science, and all of that.  What’s especially fulfilling is when I try out a new recipe and it actually works.

I mentioned a few days ago that I’ve never even made vegetable juice before, probably because I rarely drink it unless I’m having a Bloody Mary. I am so glad I did because it was really fun and made one fine cocktail, which would be yummy all on its own without vodka. I also enjoyed a terrific glass of fresh vegetable juice after my recent marathon, which was a great start to the refueling process. It’s not something I’d make all that often but the tomatoes beckoned. And, as I said, there’s a time and a place.

Cheers!
