With winter squashes in full swing and pumpkins in particular on everyone’s mind as Halloween approaches, it was time to reblog this piece. I had fewer readers last year at this time, you see, and I want you all to experience the sheer joy I did in making and eating these pumpkin whoopie pies with maple buttercream.
